Pure and Innocent

Okay, so not the words that completely describe Madi - she is not always innocent, but as innocent as a little two year old who is overrun with curiosity can be! The child has no fear, I mean none, but I admire that about her. I pray she never misses an opportunity because she was too afraid to take a risk. There are so many things about her though that are pure and innocent. I love the things she comes up with and the words out of her perfect little mouth. The other night for instance, we were all lying in bed (yes, she sleeps with us), and we were saying our prayers. She thinks we pray with eyes open and Mark had shut his after being gone for several days, he was exhausted. She began praying, looked over at Mark, put her hand on his cheek and said, "Wake up, I'm talking to Jesus!". Loved it!! Especially with her incredible hick accent she got from her daddy. She thinks she can do anything because she is a "bigga girl" and she has more determination in all of her 32 lbs than most adults I know.
